Submission Terms

These terms apply to manuscript files, samples, ideas, and project information sent through the author-services inquiry form.

You keep your ownership

Submitting material does not transfer ownership, copyright, publication rights, or any other intellectual-property rights. It does not give Treavor Anthony English permission to publish, sell, adapt, distribute, or publicly disclose your work.

Free preliminary review

The free review is a preliminary evaluation intended to identify the most important manuscript, production, or publishing bottleneck and recommend a practical next-step plan. It is not a complete developmental edit, copyedit, proofread, legal review, fact-check, or guarantee that every issue will be found.

No agreement is created

A submission does not create a client relationship, partnership, employment relationship, agency relationship, publishing agreement, representation agreement, collaboration, or obligation to accept or complete a project. Paid work begins only after both parties approve a separate written agreement defining scope, payment, ownership, confidentiality, schedule, and revisions.

No automatic confidentiality

The website form does not create a nondisclosure agreement or attorney-client privilege. Manuscripts are reviewed only to evaluate the inquiry and recommend a plan, but writers should not submit trade secrets, privileged information, private identifiers, passwords, or material they are not authorized to share.

Similar ideas may exist

Books frequently share subjects, themes, genres, structures, or questions. Receiving a manuscript does not prevent Treavor Anthony English from continuing existing work or considering independently developed projects involving similar general ideas.

Your responsibilities

By submitting, you confirm that you own or are authorized to share the material and that, to your knowledge, it does not violate another person's copyright, privacy, confidentiality, or contractual rights.

File delivery

Uploaded files are transmitted through FormSubmit and delivered by email. The combined upload may not exceed 10 MB. Writers with larger manuscripts should upload a representative sample and describe the complete project in the inquiry.

Response and pricing

The preliminary review and recommended plan are free. No purchase is required. If further work appears useful, any price, schedule, deliverable, or revision allowance will be stated separately before paid work begins.

No outcome guarantees

No publication acceptance, retailer placement, sales, reviews, rankings, awards, or bestseller status is promised.
